Kimberly Lynn BENDALL

BENDALL, Kimberly Lynn, age 50, of Burton, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1225 E. Bristol Rd., Burton. Fr. Steve Anderson celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint on Thursday 4-8PM, Friday 2-8PM and at the church Saturday from 10AM until time of Mass. A Moose Lodge Memorial will be 6:30PM Thursday and a Scripture Service will be 6:30PM Friday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Kim was born July 12, 1962 in Flint the daughter of L.D. and Carol (Berden) LaCross. She was a graduate of Bendle High School. Kim was a carefree person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved and supported her children, and was known as the "crazy hockey Mom". Surviving are her 2 children, Matthew Bendall (Amanda) of Swartz Creek, Erin Bendall (Steve) of Flushing; grandsons, Parker and Booker Bendall; mother, Carol LaCross of Burton; brother, Gary LaCross; 2 sisters, Carolyn Alexander (Steve), Marilyn Shaski (Steve); nieces and nephews, Tyler Justin, Genella (Jim), Steve (Andrea), J.D.; great-nieces and nephews, Logan, Kylie, Zander, Kadyn and Maddox. She was preceded in death by her father, L.D. LaCross. The family extends special thanks to Fr. Steve Anderson for his prayers and support; McLaren Hospital and Avalon Hospice for their tender and professional care, and to Julie Peel for her unconditional love.
