Kris Ann KIELIAN

KIELIAN, Kris Ann Lefanowicz - age 56, of Grand Blanc. Kris Ann quietly passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, after suffering complications from Alzheimer's disease. A celebration of Kris's life will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Michigan on Monday, November 4th at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Michigan on Sunday, November 3rd from 5-9pm. Guests are encouraged to wear brightly colored clothing in celebration of Kris. Kris was born in Flint, Michigan, on May 28, 1957 and graduated from Lake Fenton High School in 1975. In 1983, she married Douglas Lutz, and was blessed with a son, Maxwell in 1986. Kris received a degree in nursing from Hurley Nursing School, Flint, in 1987 and worked at Hurley Medical Center in the pediatric/neonatal ICU for almost 20 years. She loved her family, her work, the Pistons, Red Wings, music, cards and travel. Those who have known Kris will always remember her beauty inside and out, especially her kindness, her smile and laugh, and her compassion for others. Kris was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Strong, and father Donald Lefanowicz. She is survived by her son Maxwell Lutz (fiance Nicole), sister Lynn Tushup (Bob), brothers Mark Lefanowicz (Kathy) and Craig Lefanowicz (Jennifer), stepmother Carole Lefanowicz, stepsisters Lisa Hopson (Gary) and Stacey Smith, stepfather Robert Strong, stepbrothers Mathew Strong (Christina), Mike and Tim Strong and her very close friends Mark Connell and Kim Mitchell as well as many adoring nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff of Cottage of Davison, for their loving care and to Sharon Connell for her long and devoted care while Kris was at home.
