Larry Francis Koronka

Larry Francis Koronka - Age 80, of Linden, passed away September 8, 2025. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, September 12, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 11:30AM until the time of service. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Larry was born July 3, 1945 in Gaylord, the son of the late Louis and Florence (Hull) Koronka. Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He married Darcie Peterman on July 15, 1970; she preceded him in death on August 5, 2022. Larry retired from Farmer Jack in 2007 after 44 years of service. He is survived by his children, Brad Koronka, Brian (Melissa) Koronka and Sheila (Jeff) Cannon; daughter-in-law, Amanda Koronka; seven grandchildren; brother, Kenny McKenzie; sister, Diane (Don) Morgridge; sisters-in-law, Pat Koronka and Ruth Koronka; many nieces and nephews; his beloved cat, Zoey and his many friends in Linden, Genesys Rehab Department and the Halsey Music Group. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darcie; brothers, Bob, Virgil and Ernie Koronka; sisters, Kay Wilson and Dorothy Little; son, James; sister-in-law, Bonnie McKenzie.
