COON, Laurie Gail - Age 59, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, July 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 3-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Laurie G. Coon Memorial Fund. Laurie was born October 20, 1953 in Flint the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Bodag) Meoak. She married Alden Bruce Coon May 19, 1973 in Flint. She had resided in the Flint area her entire life. Surviving are: husband, Alden Bruce Coon; daughter, Heather and husband Zach Maclin of Grand Blanc; brother, George and wife Gilda Meoak of Lapeer; sister, Candice Carter of Loveland, CO; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and "adopted children".
