CHILLIK, Lee Edward - Age 76, of Fenton, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 went to his Heavenly Home. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 at The Rock Church, 11499 Linden Road, Fenton, MI. Pastor Michael Fitzgerald officiating. Visitation will be held at the church, Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Please wear your Favorite Sports' Team Cap to the Funeral Service in tribute to Lee's dedication to Sports.

Lee was born December 26, 1947 in Flint, Michigan the son of B. Leslie Chillik and Betty Ann (Teet) Chillik. He was a 1966 graduate of Flint Northern High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Western Michigan University. He married Patricia Ann Budziszewski April 26, 1980 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Flint. He had resided in Fenton for the past 40 years after moving from Flint. Lee was employed as a Recreational Specialist at the Whaley Children's Center for 29 years. He served as a counselor at Mott Camp. He was a former member of the Fenton Moose Club Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, was a movie aficionado, loved classical music and music from the 1960s. Lee was a great story teller. He was also a fan of NCAA Basketball & Football as well as Major League Baseball in all of its facets. His favorite teams to root for were Michigan State University, University of Michigan, the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees.
Lee was known for initiating fun games for his children as well as his students at Whaley Children’s Center. He organized fishing competitions, trips to Las Vegas with his friends and also played in Church Slowpitch Softball Leagues with his sons. He had a great laugh and sense of humor, enjoyed telling jokes and watching comedy specials as well. He was able to travel the world to many places in his lifetime. In addition, Lee was considered a proverbial encyclopedia of knowledge on all things historical including baseball trivia, music, movies, books, and many other topics. His depth of knowledge was seemingly endless as well as being well rounded.
Surviving are: his wife, Patricia; children, Rachel Chillik, Kyle (Sherell) Chillik and Jesse (Alexis) Chillik; grandchildren, Althea, Dominic, Vivian and Anthony and his dearly loved cat, BayBae.
He was preceded in death by his parents, B.Leslie Chillik, Betty Ann (Chillik) Joseph; Grandparents, Julius & Sarah Chillik; Uncles, Julius Chillik and John Teet; Aunts, Elivia Chillik, Elvira Chillik & Helen Nagy.
