Lee Tisdale

TISDALE,   Mrs. Lee (Nimmo) age 82 of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Riverbend.   Mrs. Tisdale was born in Joplin, Missouri on September 18, 1921 the daughter of Jake and Casha (Reid) Shofler.  She has been an area resident since 1956. She and Harry Nimmo were married in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1962.  Mrs. Tisdale had been employed at the McFarlan Home for 23 years, retiring as Supervisor in 1998. She enjoyed her family and especially the grandchildren. She also loved to go shopping, especially at Christmas time. Surviving her three children:  Harry W. Nimmo and wife Sandra of Grand Blanc, Charles E. Nimmo and wife Lisa of Macomb Twp., Michigan and Teresa L. Henson and husband Bill of Grand Blanc.  There are 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Harry, she was also preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers. Services will be 11 AM Saturday, December 20, 2003 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center. 6063 Fenton Rd. (Just South of Hill Rd.)  Rev. Maurice Anderson will officiate and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 PM Friday.  The family wishes to thank Riverbend and Genesys Hospice for all their special care and comfort.
