Leesa Myrle WELLS

WELLS, Leesa Myrle -- Age 55, of Flint, MI passed peacefully on Friday, January 31st, 2014. Per her wishes, she will be cremated at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center. A "Celebration of Life" Service will be held at a later date. Leesa was born in Flint, December 15, 1958, the daughter of Henry George and Sheila Mae (Bolen) Wells. She was a graduate of Ainsworth High School in 1977and a member of the National Honor Society. Upon graduation she attended The University of Michigan- Flint where she received her Master's in Education. Leesa was a dedicated school teacher, and always performed above and beyond expectations for her students. She taught at Dillon Elementary for 7 years, and Rankin Elementary for 3 years. She loved the outdoors, animals, antiquing, and was a passionate and talented arts and crafts hobbyist. She is survived by her daughter Alena, Father Henry, Mother Sheila, Brother Mark and wife Stacy, Brother Kent and wife Pam, and Brother Jay. She was a devoted Aunt to 3 Nephews, 3 Nieces, and 8 Grand Nephews and Nieces. A special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
