Lenna Jean Watson-Roper, 67, of Haines City, Florida, passed away on April 9, 2024. 

Lenna was born on September 20, 1956 in Flint Michigan to Joseph and Mary Watson. She was a proud veteran who served her country in the Navy until she was honorably discharged. Lenna graduated from Mott Community College with a degree in computer science, all while balancing the responsibilities of being a single mother and working.

Lenna was a woman of many passions who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from her love for collecting owls, which filled her home with warmth and character, to her steadfast generosity towards her children's friends, whom she welcomed with open arms as if they were her own. Known for her caring nature, Lenna went out of her way to help others, embodying compassion in every aspect of her life.

Lenna's adventurous spirit led her on countless journeys, whether she was exploring new destinations or simply hitting the open road with loved ones.Summers in Michigan were particularly cherished, with laughter and love filling the air during camping trips up north. The thrill of riding alongside her husband on his Harley brought her immense joy.   Lenna found true happiness in the presence of her loved ones, where her vibrant personality radiated the brightest.

In addition to her passionate beliefs, Lenna was unafraid to speak her mind and possessed a magnetic charisma that drew people to her. Her infectious laughter and quick wit never failed to uplift those around her, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Lenna leaves behind her loving husband, Jimmy Roper, her three children: Joseph Watson, Jenniefer (Matthew) Thomason, and Kellie (Eddie) Carrero, her brother, Darin Watson and six grandchildren. 
Lenna was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Watson, her mother, Mary Watson, her sister, Candy Sweet and her grandson Aaydon Watson.
