DOLLINS, Leo Sylvester - Age 80, of Clio, formerly of Newberry, died Friday, May 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Rev. Gene Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Diabetes Association. Leo was born May 7, 1933 in Coon Island, MO, the son of Ted and Irene (Crow) Dollins. He was a self employed Guide and Outfitter; One of his greatest achievements in life was his line of Plott Hounds, commonly known as Dollins Plotts. He was a life member of the North American Plott Hound Association, North American Hunting Club, and NRA; he also was a member of the Safari Club. Surviving are: 4 children, Bobbie Dollins of Tennessee, Kathy and husband Bob Domerese of Fenton, Ron Dollins of Clio, and Loreen Dollins of Idaho; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Lloyd Dollins of Missouri, Charles and wife Carol Dollins of Missouri, Buck and wife Gail Dollins of Arkansas, and Jerry and wife Jeanine Dollins of Missouri; 4 sisters, Mildred and husband Wayne Mize, Patsy and husband Rudy Knolton, Linda and husband Shorty Layton, and Theresa and husband Tim Cassinger all of Missouri; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Gail "Snooks" Burgess of Newberry.
