Leonard Earl JACZYNSKI

JACZYNSKI, Leonard Earl - age 73 of Linden, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2PM Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Friday with a 7:30 PM Scripture Service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden and from 1PM until the time of Mass on Saturday, at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Leonard was born June 14, 1940 in Detroit, the son of Stanley and Mary (Swiderek) Jaczynski. He was married to Cecelia Ann Gigliotti on September 5, 1964. Mr. Jaczynski was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from General Motors. He was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Monsignor Hunt Council #3312. Leonard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, was an amazing gardener. He was a hard worker and protector of his family. He is the beloved husband of Cecelia; dear father of Leonard Jr., Stanley (Mary Beth), Antoinetti (Paul) Patonis; loving Papa of Christopher (Megan), Cody, Joshua, Nikolai, Isabella, Vincent, Dylan and Jacob; great-grandfather of Emma, Kate and Harper. He is also survived by his siblings, Lorraine Casali, Charlene (Douglas) Juras, Stanley (Stephanie) Jaczynski; sister-in-law, Mary Ann; several nieces and nephews.
