Leonard Lund

LUND, Leonard W. - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, died on January 11, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 11 AM until time of service Wednesday. Mr. Lund was born on April 11, 1932 in Iron Mountain, the son of Hans and Gladys (Strasler) Lund. He married Joann Weigandt on July 24, 1951. He was a graduate of Ferris State University. He was a Veteran of the U.S Air Force serving in the Korean War. Leonard retired from Sears working as an Electronic Technician. He was the TV repairman in Swartz Creek. Leonard loved sports, most importantly baseball and was a country music fan. Surviving are his wife, Joann; four daughters, Diane (Mike) Pierce of Indianapolis, IN, Lynn Roberts of Flint, Julie (Paul) Howell of NC, Debbie (Rick) Clolinger of Swartz Creek; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Marion (Lloyd) Anderson; brother, Bobby (Josie) Lund; sister-in-law, Melba; several nieces and nephews.
