URICEK, Leonard S. -- Age 78, of Bancroft, died January 6, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, January 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Friday. Mr. Uricek was born December 18, 1931 in Flint the son of Joseph and Irene (Vavro) Uricek. He married Maxine Lyden on June 9, 1951. Mr. Uricek retired from Buick. Surviving are: wife Maxine; four children, Leonard of Flint, Christine and husband Bobby Mills of Shepherd, Michael and wife Karen of Burton, David of Ferndale; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence.
