BAKEMAN, Lester David - Age 72, of Flint, died August 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Pastor Chris Radcliffe will officiate. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Thursday and 11 AM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to United Way. Lester was born March 16, 1941 in St. Cloud, MN, the son of Melvin and Margaret (Gohman) Bakeman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Lester retired from General Motors in 1999 and also made fleece blankets that he sold at Bristol Torrey Trade Center. Surviving are: son, Donald and wife Julie Bakeman; step-son, Lewis and wife Kimberly Bostwick; grandchildren, Melinda Wright, Jacob Bakeman, Samantha, Calee and Logan Mabbitt; great-grandson, Zavier Townsend; sisters, Carol Rono, Lois and husband Richard Allair.
