Letitia Ann Wheeler

WHEELER, Letitia Ann "Tish"- age 90, of Linden, passed away May 7, 2026. Funeral Service 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes Fenton Chapel. Ben Evers officiating. Visitation Tuesday 2:00 PM -8:00 PM. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Tish's memory would be appreciated to Smile Train or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Tish was born May 30, 1935, in the Detroit, the daughter of Casper and Sarah (McCarthy) Croke. She married Carl James Wheeler in Inkster on October 27, 1956. Carl preceded her in death on June 11, 2018. Tish graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School, Wayne, MI in 1953. She worked her entire adult life along with raising her family until her retirement as Manager of the Superior Twp. Water Department. Tish was the first ever female manager of this department. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, but especially spending time with her family.

Tish is survived by her children, Judy (Kevin) Bradbury, David (Jill) Wheeler, Andrew (Amy) Wheeler, Mary (Rick) Wilson, and Edward (Elizabeth) Wheeler; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Tish was preceded in death by her parents, Casper and Sarah Croke; her husband, Carl James Wheeler, three brothers, and 2 sisters. Online tributes can be shared on her obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
