Lilah Jean Butler

Butler, Lilah Jean - Age 82, of Grand Blanc, passed away August 7, 2026 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. (The funeral service may be viewed by livestream from a link at Mrs. Butler's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) Pastor Mike Cheng officiating. Committal service to follow the funeral service at 2:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 13. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Lilah was born September 5, 1943 in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Earl and Helen. She was married to Michael Butler on May 8, 1971 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Portland, Oregon. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Northwood University. After retiring from General Motors with over 30 years of service, she owned and operated Lilah's Antiques and Collectibles. She was also community-minded, serving as the Treasurer of the Hillcrest Neighborhood Association and starting a community garden. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are: her husband of 55 years, Michael; children, Kristen (Patrick) Nolan, Theresa (Anthony) Hudson, Kelly (James) Zills, Donald (Nikki) Butler, Michael Butler; nine grandchildren, Mia, Brendan, Olivia, Patrick, Jonathan, Ian, Dean, Logan, Duncan; siblings, Mary, Earl Jr., Geraldine, Byron, Evelyn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Nancy.
