Linda Marie Cole

Linda Marie Cole, of Swartz Creek, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Linda's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Linda was born February 11, 1952 in Flint, the beloved daughter of Joseph Thomas and Rosemary Ann (Goggins) Wisniewski. Linda was a beautiful, adventurous, and independent woman whose life was filled with many chapters. As a young woman, she ventured to New York City, where she worked as an airline stewardess and pursued modeling, including advertising work. Her adventurous spirit and bright personality remained a part of who she was throughout her life.

Linda eventually returned to Michigan, where she wed, and then later raised her children, Mindy and Anthony (Tony), in Flushing. Linda was a hardworking woman who spent her life caring for her family and helping others. She worked in the office at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint, which her father managed. She also worked for her uncle Jack Goggins at World Clock before eventually retiring from FCM Rail, Ltd.

Later on, Linda married Dennis Lynn Cole, the love of her life, and moved to Swartz Creek. Dennis, whom everyone knew as "Cole", was a cherished person in Linda's life. Their love remained a treasured part of her story until his passing on August 29, 2022.

While Linda experienced many chapters throughout her life, her greatest joy was her family. She loved her children fiercely, but her grandchildren held a truly special place in her heart. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She spoiled them rotten, delighted in them, worried about them, and loved them with everything she had. She also held a deep love for her nieces and nephews, who were an important part of her family and heart.

Linda was one of the most generous people anyone could know. If someone needed help, she was there. She loved her people completely and would do anything for someone in need. She was nurturing, protective, fiercely independent, and wonderfully stubborn. She was always doing, always caring for someone, and rarely sitting still.

Linda had a smile that could brighten an entire room. She was a warm, happy presence, and her love was something people could feel.

She will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her daughter, Mindy Marie Hamp and husband, Peter Hamp; her son, Anthony Brett Anderson; her grandchildren, Joshua, Penelope, and Adrian. Her siblings, Raymond Wisniewski, Timothy Wisniewski, and Janet Hamo; her stepmother, Mary Wisniewksi, and her beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as the many friends she made throughout her life will miss her too, and that's because to Linda, family was anyone she loved.

Linda's family will forever remember the special word she used to express the depth of her love: "Mostest". To her, it meant loving someone "so much it hurt-more than life itself". And that was Linda. she loved her people with everything she had.

She was beautiful inside and out, but those who knew her best understood that her greatest beauty was in her heart. To know Linda, was to be loved. And whenever "I Love You" doesn't feel like enough, her family will remember the word that meant everything: "Mostest"
