Linda Lee Krepel

Linda Lee Krepel, 62, of Coconut Creek, Florida, formerly of Durand, Michigan, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Holy Cross Hospital, Catholic Hospice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Linda graduated from Durand Area High School in 1980 and the University of Michigan in 1984. She earned her M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Linda provided Broward County Board of County Commissioners over 22 years of dedicated service. She was the Senior Program Project Coordinator for the Human Services Department in Community Partnership. Linda was a former member of the Florida Philharmonic Choir of Fort Lauderdale. She formed and directed the youth choir at St. Luke Catholic Church in Coconut Creek, Florida.

Linda leaves behind her sister, Bernadine Krepel of Coconut Creek, Florida, and nephews Andrew Smith and Family of St. Johns, Michigan, Patrick Smith and Family of Powell, Tennessee, and Joseph D. Krepel of Naples, Florida, as well as many cousins in Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph R. Krepel, her mother, Mary (McCarthy) Krepel, her brother, Joseph B. Krepel, and her sister, Lu Ann (Krepel) Smith.

A Funeral Mass for Linda will be held at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek, Michigan, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 am.
