Linda was born on November 11, 1946, in Flint, Michigan to the late Frederick & Geraldine Beckwith as the third of four daughters. She graduated from Flint Central High School class of 1964. Linda pursued her education at Eastern Michigan University and graduated in 1968 with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, she would go on to teach at Morrish Elementary, a part of Swartz Creek Community Schools, for the next 31 years. Linda married her best friend, Michael Lang, on May 10, 1969, in Flint, Michigan, with whom she celebrated 54 years of a loving marriage. In addition to being a loving wife, she had two daughters, Rebecca and Laura, who she loved deeply. As a family, they enjoyed swimming, traveling across America to many National Parks & watching U of M football games. Linda would later welcome four beautiful grandchildren who became her world. She made sure they all knew how to swim. Due to being an avid reader, she shared many books and story times with her grandchildren. They could also count on her to play a variety of games with them. She was especially good at listening to all who needed a shoulder to lean on. Linda's kind and compassionate personality is what made her an amazing wife, mother, nana, sister, friend and teacher. There wasn't a day that went by that she wasn't teaching someone something new. Linda will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her and experience her love.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Lang; two daughters, Rebecca (John) Kaplan and Laura (David) Bollinger; grandsons, Dylan and Ryan LaFramboise; granddaughters, Audrey & Lydia Bollinger; sisters, Lil Karstens and Susan Taekens; godson, Dan Karstens; brothers-in-laws, Andrew Lang, Harvey Young and John Demura. Linda is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other dear family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Frederick and Geraldine Beckwith, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Demura; sisters-in-law, Debbie Young and Margo Lang; brothers-in-law, Gerald Karstens and Joe Taeckens and her in-laws, Charles and Minnie Lang.
