Linda Jean Longstreth

LONGSTRETH, Linda Jean - Age 78, of Fenton, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Florida. A Mass Intention will be said at the Chapel of Holy Innocents at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Linda will be interred at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 24th at Lakeside Cemetery, Holly.

Linda was born August 14, 1948, in Detroit, the daughter of Robert Peter and Lorraine Ruth (Fraza) Longstreth. She was a 1966 graduate of Holly High School; and she received a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's in Early Childhood Development from Oakland University. She retired from Linden Community Schools as a teacher/principle after 41 years of service. Linda was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton.

Surviving are: her children, Craig (Debbie) Steffey of Sarasota, FL and Kristi Tiernan of Ohio; grandchildren, Tyler (Amber) Steffey of Puerto Rico and Morgan Steffey of Spain; sister, Leslie White of Linden; brothers, Larry (Kathy) Longstreth of Coopersville, MI and Lee (Brenda) Longstreth of Pewaukee, WI; sister-in-law, LuAnn Longstreth of Linden; and serveral nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lorraine Longstreth; and brother, Lane Longstreth. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
