Linda Sue VanCamp

Linda (Gansen) VanCamp, age 63, passed away peacefully at her residence in Grand Blanc on August 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous eight-year battle with cancer.

Born on May 4, 1963, in Flint, Michigan, to Frank and Joyce Gansen, Linda grew up locally and graduated from Flushing High School with the Class of 1981.

Over her career, Linda served her community as a Pharmacy Technician at Meijer, a Pharmacy Formulary Coordinator for Health Plus of Michigan, and as a Pharmacy Formulary Analyst for the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Linda built a life centered on love, strength, and cherished memories alongside her husband, Charles. She showed grace and compassion for everyone that she met. She had a deep passion for life and found immense joy in traveling and tending to her beautiful gardens. Her incredible resilience, warmth, and vibrant spirit were an inspiration to all who knew her, bringing beauty and light into the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her children, David Almassy (wife Brittni), Andrea Almassy, and Nicole Brown (husband Daniel); her beloved grandchildren, Isaiah and Olivia; her sisters, Patricia Rapp (husband Jim) and Judy Gansen; her brother, Don Gansen (wife Cindy); as well as many dear extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Joyce Gansen.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 16th, at 4:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Swartz Creek Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473), with Pastor Kate Zywicki presiding. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 1:00pm until time of the service
