Lloyd Firmin

Firmin, Lloyd John - Age 82, of Flint, passed away at McLaren Lapeer Regional Medical Center on November 30, 2017 due to complications following a car accident. Funeral services will be held 12PM Monday December 4, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek, Pastor Larry Burk officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 11AM until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Lloyd was born December 22, 1934 in Cottonport, LA., the youngest of 6 children of John Joseph and Dora (Landry) Firmin. After serving 2 years in the U.S. Army he married and moved to Flint where he worked at the G.M. V8 engine plant for 37 years. He was able to enjoy traveling during his retirement years. He is survived by his son, Michael (Karen) Firmin of Cedarville, OH; daughter, Laurie and (Dan) Baral of Kansas City, MO; his former wife, Betty Firmin of Lakeland, FL.; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Boatwright; 9 grandchildren, Ruthie and Sarah Firmin, David, Bethany, Amy, and Mark Baral, Steven, Daniel and Rebekah Firmin.
