Lois Jones

JONES, Lois Elaine- Age 87, of Fenton, died Friday, January 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Lois was born August 4, 1929 in Fenton, the daughter of Walter Lee and Bertha (Reed) Hungerford. She married Charles Paul Jones on January 30, 1984 in Fenton and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2013. She had worked at a Dime store in Fenton, Grinnell Bros. Piano Factory in Holly and retired as a machine operator for General Motors for 14 years. She was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed listening to classical music, watching movie musicals and reading dime store novels. Lois is survived by her children, Brenda (Dan) Webster of Jackson, Charles (Kathy) Jones of Seattle, WA, Shirley Sauve of Grand Blanc and Rebecca Fern of Grand Blanc; six grandchildren, Erika Sessink, Stephanie Johnston, Christi Fosner, Brandon Murray, Jason Jones, Andrea Gerezetich and seventeen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews Hank (Wendy) Norton, Judy Brummeler and husband Norm Veliquette, Walt (Barb) Hungerford, Lorraine (Bill) Lahring, Beth Bourne, Lee (Jane) Hungerford, Garner (Annette) Hungerford, and Janet Curtis. Many great and great-great nephews and nieces. She was also preceded in death her parents; two brothers, Lloyd and Ernie; two sisters, Velma and Norene.
