OBERPRILLER, Loretta Hilda (Dasen) - Age 90 of Flint Township, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her residence. Scripture service will be held at 7:00PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 3:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Vernon. Loretta was born June 25, 1923, the daughter of Theodore and Lucy (Reardon) Dasen. She graduated as valedictorian of her class at Flint Central High School and Flint Community Junior College. She married Herbert Oberpriller June 29, 1963, who preceded her in death June 16, 2009. She was thankful to have been employed by General Motors, AC Spark Plug Division-Delphi for 56 years, and treasured the friendship of her co-workers. She sang in the AC Ladies Chorus for 15 years and participated in many concerts presented at the former I.M.A. Auditorium in Flint. Loretta enjoyed playing the piano and other musical instruments. She was survived by her cats Peanuts, Mr. Kitty and Miss Kitty, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and their families, and her care giving neighbor Rhonda Barette. She was preceded in death by her husband Herb; her parents Theodore Sr. and Louise (Reardon); five brothers Harold, Gerald, Theodore Sr., Arnold, and Carl Dasen; and three sisters Margaret Rhodes, Alice Plantz, and Dorothy Bellinger and cat Morris.
