Lorie Marie Martinez

Martinez, Lorie Marie - age 54 of Flint, passed away April 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled.

Lorie was born on October 7, 1971 in Flint, Michigan to the late Eugene and Jeanette (Bemis) DeLong. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1998 before receiving her associates degree from Baker College. Lorie married Andres Martinez on April 20, 2013 in Miami Beach, Florida. She was a member of the Red Wings Fan Club and she enjoyed photography, traveling the United States and Red Wings Hockey.

Surviving is her husband, Andres. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Elda Muniz. Step-son, Andres D. Martinez. Aunt, Ellen LaForest; niece, Aaliyah Jackson and nephew, Jarelle DeLong. Lorie will be welcomed into heaven by her parents; siblings, Brenda and Mark DeLong.
