Louana "Bonnie" CRIBBS

CRIBBS, Louana "Bonnie" - Age 78 of Flint, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday. Bonnie was born March 12, 1935 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Adoph and Ruth (Huffman) Trovillion. She graduated from Beecher High School in 1953 where she received a varsity letter in all the women's sports and was a majorette in the marching band. She was a member of Sigma Lambda Sigma Sorority. She married Ralph Cribbs on August 20, 1955. She was an avid bowler and golfer. Bonnie was a member of the Warwick Ladies Golf Group and the golf league of Moose Lodge #1437. She was an Olympic medalist in archery at the CANUSA games. Surviving are her loving husband of over 58 years, Ralph Cribbs, daughter Susan (Tom) Longridge of Fredericksburg, VA, son Jeffrey Cribbs of Louisburg, NC, granddaughters Tara Longridge of Santa Monica, CA, Lauren Longridge of Falls Church, VA, great-grandson Theo Maxwell of Falls Church, VA, brother Adolph (Lucille) Trovillion, James (Pat) Trovillion, brother David (Elinor) Trovilion, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Alice Hillebrand, brothers Gerald Trovillion and John Trovillion. Special thanks to McLaren Hospice and McLaren Chemotherapy Group.
