CONRAD, Louella- Age 78, passed on January 20, 2017 at 9:20AM. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Monday January 23, 2017 at New Covenant Church 13176 N. Linden Rd. Clio, Mi. Reverend Dan Shinabarger and Reverend Mark Dusseau officiating. Louella was born and raised in Kentucky on August 29, 1938 to her loving parents Noah and Katie Castle. Louella was the daughter of a housewife and a miner. Louella had one sister and seven brothers who preceded her in death. Louella and her first husband had Nancy Jane. Later in life Louella met the true love of her life, Clifford LeRoy Conrad. They fell in love and married December 21, 1989 raising Sharon, Jean, Kevin and Beverly as her own and also gave birth to two daughters Lori and Lynn, and three sons of which only one survived, Daryl Wayne Conrad. The other two sons passed during child birth. Louella and Clifford were the most loving grandparents to all of their grandchildren. Louella and Clifford grew tight bonds with Frank, Mary and Shawn the children of their son Daryl and his wife Karen. Louella's husband Clifford passed away in 2005 from pancreatic cancer after seeing his last wish come true seeing their grandson Shawn go to Disney World. After the death of Louella's husband she fought on to love and keep her family together through many storms. Louella was able to welcome into the world the next generation with the birth of Mary Elizabeth Rose, Conrad's daughters Jasmine Nicole and Nevaeh Grace Hetzer. Louella ia an amazing mom, grandma, and great-grandma. Louella is survived by her son: Daryl and (Karen) Conrad; their children: Frank (Quentin), Mary (Jason), Shawn, Jasmine, and Nevaeh; who took care of Louella and Clifford until the day they passed. She is also survived by her daughter: Nancy Jane; who also took care of her mom and her two daughters and grandchildren, Lori (Eric) and Lynne (Paul) and their children. Jean, her children and grandchildren, Kevin (Margie) and his two sons, Beverly and Marilyn. Louella was greatly loved and she greatly loved her children and grandchildren.
