BOURGET, Lucien C. - Age 98, of Linden, passed away peacefully surrounded by family October 6, 2025. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 PM - 3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amen House of Georgetown, KY (www.amenhouse.org) in memory of his great-grandson, Russ. Mr. Bourget was born on November 16, 1926, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada the son of Phileas and Adrienne (Boucher) Bourget. He married Theresa Jeannine Boulais on October 19, 1950 and they spent 75 years together loving each other and their family. At a young age Lucien began working in his uncle's restaurant in Canada. He continued in the restaurant business throughout his life, retiring as a managing partner of Win Schulers Restaurant. Lou and Theresa shared a strong faith in God. They loved lake life together with frequent family gatherings and activities. He enjoyed many sports, and he was especially proud of his time coaching hockey at Detroit Catholic Central High School. He is survived by his wife Theresa; four children, Nicole (Michael) Tate of Linden, Robert (Carol) Bourget of Lancaster KY, Denise (Gary) Jacobsen of Highland Mi, and Daniel (Paula) Bourget of Hendersonville, TN; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings and a very special great grandson Russ Bronson Bourget.
