BAIRD, Lucy Jane -- Age 88, of Grand Blanc, died November 9, 2012 at Crestmont Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, 515 Bush Avenue, Grand Blanc, Pastor Patrick England officiating. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at the church Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church. Lucy was born February 22, 1924 in Holly the daughter of Thomas and Ivory (Hartwig) Terryah. She married Richard Baird on August 30, 1944 in the Ortonville United Methodist Church. They moved to Grand Blanc in 1950. She loved the garden and flowers, camping with family and friends. She was active in the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church. Her family was her life. Surviving are: children, Gary R. Baird, William T. and wife Pamela Baird, Brian K. and wife Karen Baird; grandchildren, Mykel, Jason, Breanna and husband Steve Waterstradt, Brandy and husband Adam Chatfield, Heather and husband Matthew Guinn, Kacie and friend Corey Kapanka; great-grandchildren, J.J., Caleb, Tessa, Nicholas, Macie, and Samuel; sister-in-law, Patricia Terryah; brothers, Lewis Terryah, Tom and wife Geri Terryah; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Valerie; grandson Chad Eric Baird; brother Glenn Terryah; daughter-in-law, Mary Baird; brother-in-law, Gerald Baird; sister-in-law JoAnne Terryah; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Doris and Merton Jacobs.
