Luella Whitman

WHITMAN, Luella May - age 84, of Burton, died June 21, 2022. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Friday, June 24, 2022 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Luella was born February 6, 1938 in Flint, the daughter of DeVerne and Jennie (Samson) Alpin. Surviving are: four children, Leo Johnston, Jr., Gerald (Catherine) Johnston, William (Pamela) Johnston, and Beth Ann Warren; step-children, Gary Whitman, Donald Whitman, Catherine Johnston, and John Whitman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Linda) Alpin; brother-in-law, Jim (Carol) Johnston. She was preceded in death by: husband, Leo Johnston in 1978; husband, Donald Whitman in 2012; daughter, Kathleen; siblings, Mary Baumgard, Kenneth Alpin, Robert Alpin, John "Jack" Alpin, and Jim Alpin.
