Lugene Pritchard

Lugene Pritchard, 72, of Fenton, MI passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband, daughter, and cousin on July 24, 2026. Lu was a beloved wife, mother, sister, gummy, aunt, and friend, and she will be profoundly missed.

Carol and Pol welcomed baby Lu on March 28, 1954, at the Mitchel Air Force Base in New

York. Lu grew up in Algonac and Port Huron, Michigan surrounded by love from her Granny Michie, Mom Carole, Uncle Arch, and Uncle Tommy. Lu had a tightknit group of friends. She loved fast boats, playing at the beach, being silly, jumping out of airplanes, and sunshine.

We’ll miss her warm welcoming nature. Lu saw the light in people and was the first to strike up a conversation or pay a compliment. She could talk with anyone and leave them feeling seen and special.

May her light shine thru each of us as we travel ahead, greatly saddened with her departure, but forever changed because of her love and presence.

Lu is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, Kevin Pritchard; her children, Trisha

(Jason) Stahl and Phillip (Stephanie) Pritchard; father, Pol (Pat) Raynal; sisters, Suzanne (Tom) White and Lisa Duncan; brother, Richard Willie; brother-in-law, Bill Hnatyk; grandchildren, Brianne, Corbin, and Audrina; and many extended family and friends.

In lieu of a traditional service, a private Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends.
