GOSCINIAK, Lydia - age 92, of Durand, died in April, 2024. A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. The family is requesting that only contributions be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee, 2005 Copas Rd, Owosso, MI 48867. Lydia was born in Durand, the daughter of Stephen and Lidia Vargo. She was a 1949 graduate of Durand High School. Lydia married Chester Gosciniak in Flint. She was a secretary for many years at various business in Flint. Lydia enjoyed spending time with family, traveling with her children and visiting casinos. Surviving are: daughter, Sue Gosciniak; son, Tony (Nina) Gosciniak; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband; daughter; six sisters; and a brother.
