Lynn Mcnamara

McNAMARA, Lynn Lee - Age 73, of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.  Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-6 PM and Monday from 4-8 PM.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys of Flint, 6255 Taylor Dr., Flint, MI 48507 or a charity of your choice.

Lynn was born November 24, 1948 in Saginaw, the daughter of Kenneth and Lois (Frost) Hutfilz.  She was a 1966 graduate of Merrill High School. She then attended Saginaw Business School and received a Associates Degree from Mott Community College.  She married Daniel George McNamara September 7, 1968 in Ivy, MI.  She had resided in Grand Blanc since 1976 coming from Flint/Merrill.  Lynn had been employed by the Flint Community Schools as an Interpreter for the deaf for 14 years; then was the office manager at George's Towing.  She enjoyed crafts, her home on Houghton Lake, and her family

Surviving are: her husband of 53years, Daniel; son, Jeffrey (Kristine) McNamara of Clarkston; daughter, Wendy (Bryan) Baker of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Megan, Jessica (Alex), Elizabeth, Matthew, and Heidi; great granddaughter, Lucy; brothers, Thomas Hutfilz of Michigan and Kurt (Gale) Hutfilz of Lewisburg, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
