JOHNSTON, Mamie Katherine -- Age 90, of Owosso, died January 18, 2016. Private Services are under the direction of Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Mamie was born September 21, 1925 in Kennett, MO. the daughter of Claude and Katie (Quals) Tarrence. Mamie married Robert E. Johnston in 1963 in Flint. She was employed by GM for 22 Years before retiring. Mamie enjoyed Quilting, cooking and playing marbles. She is survived by her 5 children, Bill (Ann) Tolley, Bobby Tolley, Sharon (Dave) Bellinger, Glenda Webster and Charles (Judy) Johnston; 12 grandchildren, Katherine (Scott) Dunkerson, Billy Tolley, Jennifer (Joe) DelMorne, Michael (Nicole) Notter, Jessica (Tyler) Bellinger, Amber (Brandon) Burgess, Robert Johnston Jr., Willie Johnston, Debbie Salters, Carla (Rob) Foster, Dennis Hamen, Travis Tolley, Kaitlyn Tolley, Joseph Tolley, Wendy Tolley and Heather (Jeff) Koenig; she is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Delbert Tarrence, Rubert Tarrence and Jean Johnson.
