CARR, Margaret Alice (Marg), age 95 of Grand Blanc, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Brookdale Senior Living. In respect of her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment service will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.

Margaret was born October 4, 1928 in Flint, Michigan to the late Orville O. and Gladys (Green) Osborne. She graduated from Flint Central High School and married James Robert (Bob) Carr in 1949. Margaret worked at Chevrolet Parts and Service prior to having children. She was a member of the Flint Junior League and P.E.O. Organization and worked at Pierce Furniture before joining Barbara Koegel Interior Design, retiring in 1996.

Margaret is survived by her son, Charles Robert (Lorine) Carr of Tucson, AZ and daughter, Carrie Jane (James) Nietert of Grand Blanc, MI.; grandchildren, Timothy (Stefanie) Nietert of Euless, TX and William (Danielle) Nietert of Frisco, TX.; great-grandchildren, Lucas, William, and Sloane; also surviving are several nephews including special nephew, J. Kim (Sherry) Fent of East Lansing, MI; and special niece, Nancy (Warren) Jones of Dalton, PA. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Carr (Bob); parents; sister and her husband, Helen (Leon) Bixby; father-in-law, and his wife, James (Marion) Carr; and sister-in-law and her husband, Kathryn J. (James) Fent.
