Margaret Dunbar

Margaret Louise Dunbar- Age 89, of Flint, passed away December 14, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with interment to follow at Byron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3PM – 8PM Friday, December 19, 2025.

Margaret was born January 5, 1936, in Greenfield, Illinois to Jesse and Ollie (Pitchford) Meneley. Reading books was her favorite hobby and you could often find her with a book in her hands. Her grandchildren were the most important people in her life, and she loved spending time with them.

Margaret is survived by children Ernest (Judy), Jeffery, and Bradley; grandchildren Jessica (Patrick) Lee, Jesse Dunbar, Rachel (Jason) Westman, Nicole Dunbar, Tina Stearns, and Joshua Dunbar; sister Jean Lane; as well as her great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Dunbar; parents Jesse and Ollie (Pitchford) Meneley; son Aaron Dunbar; and sisters Patricia Benson and Kay Fay.
