Margaret "Vicki" Roberts

Margaret "Vicki" Roberts of Linden, MI, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025 at the age of 96. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Her dear friends and family will never forget Vicki's easy-going personality, kindness, and generosity that she shared with the world.

Born in Detroit, MI on May 5, 1929, she was the only child of James and Margaret Kearney. Vicki met her husband, Kenneth Roberts, when they were kids in their neighborhood. Together they built a life filled with a loving family, some travel, knitting, ceramics, and their dog, Rags. She was an active member of the local TOPS chapter in South Lyon, MI for 30 plus years.

She was a loving and supportive mother to her four children, Sharron Dunn (Dan Dunn), Ken Roberts (Kathy Roberts), Garry Roberts, and Patti Fabisiak (Matt Faibisiak). Vicki's family grew to include 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, and all were fortunate to know her love and kindness as the matriarch of the family.

Vicki was preceded in death by her husband Ken, son Garry, and grandson David. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but we are thankful for the time we had with her in our lives. Love you mom, grandma, and GG!!

A memorial service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, August 1, 2025 at 2:30 PM. After the service there will be a celebration of Vicki's life hosted at her daughter's house. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation, a cause that was important to Vicki.
