Margarette Ann WRIGHT

November 11, 1932 — December 6, 2012

WRIGHT, Margarette Ann, age 80, of Swartz Creek, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her residence. A funeral mass will be celebrated, 11AM Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Flint. Fr. Steve Anderson, celebrant. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery to follow mass. Visitation will be held 4PM to 8PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and 10AM until time of mass at the church. A rosary will be prayed 7PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Visually Impaired Center, 1422 W. Court St., Flint. Mrs. Wright was born November 11, 1932 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Cecil Maxwell and Carmel (Meredith) McCabe. She married Donald L. Wright September 10, 1951 in Flint. Margarette enjoyed crafting, she loved spending her time working in ceramics, knitting, and doll making, and also enjoyed gardening and reading. Surviving are her husband of 61 years; children, Christopher (Janis) Wright of Flint, Dawn (Gary) Vitous of Swartz Creek, Theresa (Rick) Dieck of Swartz Creek, Donald Wright Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great-granddaughter and sister, Patricia (Donald) Morgan of Flushing. She was also preceded in death by her son Robert Wright, sister and brother-in-law Darlene (Dan) Robinson. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
