CUPAL, Marguerite J. - age 88, of Fenton, passed away November 15, 2025. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 21, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the charity of the donors choice in Marguerite's memory.
Marguerite was born November 24, 1936 in Holly the daughter of Harvey and Ellen (Miller) Hawley. She married Frederick J. Cupal in Swartz Creek on August 1, 1959. Marguerite graduated from Holly High School and later from Comptometer School. She later received her Associate's degree from Mott Community College. Marguerite was employed for many years as an Accountant with General Motors, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton and also St. Rita Catholic Church in Holly. Marguerite enjoyed sewing, walking, traveling, bicycling, and gardening. She was an advocate for " healthy eating." Family was everything to her as she mostly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marguerite always stressed the importance of education to those she loved!
Marguerite is survived by her husband, Frederick; her daughters, Cynthia L.Cupal, and Cathleen M. Cupal; her grandchildren, Megan Trimmer, and Madison (Michael) Waverka; her siblings, Robert Hawley, and Norma Louchart; her sister's and brother's in law, Phyllis and Dan Cupal, Midge Gordon, Tom (Cindy) Cupal, Ann (Woody) Wiegant, and Susie Cupal; also several nieces and nephews.
