LEONARD, Maria Frieda - Age 85, of Linden, died February 4, 2017. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, February 13, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of mass. Those desiring may make contributions to University of Michigan, CS Mott Children's Hospital. Maria was born July 19, 1931 in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Leopold and Maria (Weber) Wirth. She was married to Thomas Leonard on April 23, 1955; he preceded her in death on March 1, 2012. She is survived by her children, Thomas Leonard, Jr. and Patricia (Anthony) Callender; grandchildren, Joseph Callender and Melissa Callender; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Dean; sister, Brunhilde Atkinson.
