Marian L. BASILIUS

BASILIUS, Marian L. -- Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died March 8, 2013 at Willowbrook Manor. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, March 12 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 1-7 PM Monday with a 7 PM Vigil service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Entombment services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, March 13 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Marian was born April 9, 1932 in Flint the daughter of Ronald and Nina (Woods) Warren. She married Richard D. Basilius on August 16, 1952. She retired from G.M. in 1981. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angles Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. She enjoyed bingo, golf, bowling, and her family. Surviving are: husband Richard; three sons, Dan (Deb) of Grand Rapids, David (Sheila) of Clio, Doug (Annette) of Thompson Station, TN; grandchildren, Dana (Austin), Diane, Derek, Brandon, Brad, Camden and Collin; two great-grandchildren; Ashton and Carter; two sisters, Vera Ridley of Indiana, Dorothy Cotterman of Fenton.
