Marian Elizabeth HARRIS

HARRIS, Marian Elizabeth - of Fenton, beloved wife of the late Harry F. Harris, died January 27, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-5 & 6-8 PM Friday, with a scripture service at 7 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of Mass Saturday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Alzheimer's Association or Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Marian was born March 31, 1928 in Romeo, the daughter of Harold John and Morilla C. (McIntyre) Schupbach. She was a devoted and loving wife for 48 years. Marian worked hard raising her five children and used her many talents making a happy home for her family. Her husband, children and grandchildren were the most important part of her life. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was the loving mother of, Michael (Pamela), Marcia (Joseph) Puertas, Kathleen (John) Marino, Susan (Mark) Emerick, Shirley (James) Bruner; loving grandmother of, Joseph and Maria Puertas, Michael and David Marino, Mary and Grace Emerick, Katherine and James Bruner, Elizabeth Harris. Also surviving are: brothers, Maynard (Cassie) Schupbach, Melvin (Marilyn) Schupbach, Elmer Schupbach; sisters, Marcia (William) Freeman and Linda Schupbach; sisters-in-law, Lydia Harris, Olive Harris and Diane Sovis. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis (Lillian) Schupbach, Harold (Mary) Schupbach, Donald Schupbach, Fenton Charles Schupbach; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Jean)Harris, Robert Harris and George Harris; sisters-in-law, Shirley Gannaway and Joyce Schupbach.
