Marianne Elizabeth Slaughter

SLAUGHTER, Marianne Elizabeth - Age 77, of Fenton, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held at this time.

Marianne was born January 29, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Franklin and Marianne (Heritsch) Putnam. She was a 1967 graduate of Fenton High School; and she was a graduate of Baker College. She married Oral Doran Slaughter January 10, 1983 in Fenton and he preceded her in death August 16, 1999. She retired form Hurley Medical Center in Flint after 40 years of service in the Medical Records Department. Marianne had resided in Fenton for most of her life. She enjoyed her dogs and bowling.

Surviving are: her children, Yvonne Miller of Davison, Lowell (Holly) George of Clarkston, and Lisa (Joe) Burt of Ft. Myers, FL; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Tony (Thu) Putnam of California and Stephen (Beth) Putnam of Holly; and several nieces and nephews.
