Marie Harris

Harris, Marie L. (Drake) (Moore) - Age 80, of Grand Blanc formerly of Flint, died Thursday, October 16, 2014. A memorial service will be held 2PM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W Bristol Rd, Flint. Visitation will be held 1PM until time of service at the church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Genesee County Humane Society. Marie was born September 21, 1934 in Linden, Michigan, the daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Hulda (Carlson) Drake. She married William Moore, he preceded her in death in January 2001. Marie later married Howard Harris he also preceded her in death November of 2006. Marie enjoyed Karaoke and was a country music singer and sang with many bands. She owned her own band call the "Classic Country Band" from 1988 to 1998. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: children; Nancy (Paul) Stilson of Grand Blanc, MI, Brian (Cheryl) Moore of Linden, MI, Judi (Dennis) Busha of Burton, MI; grandchildren, Krissey Schattilly, Kasey (Mark) Litwin, Danielle (Derek) Justice, Randy Moore, Rachael Boggs, Janelle Stilson, Nick (Kristin)Stilson; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
