Marie (Shaw) Groh

GROH, Marie Elizabeth (Shaw) - Age 93, of Zephryhills, FL, passed away at home on January 8, 2021. Private burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linden. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Marie was born June 17, 1927 in Detroit. She owned the Old Hickory in Linden in the 1950's and 1960's. She worked for Beaumont Hospital as Accounts Payable Supervisor, retiring after 25 years. Marie loved traveling, especially cruising. She is survived by her children, Joan Nichols, Donna Korfel, Leslie "Rusty" Lathrop-Turnbull and husband Otto, Martin Shaw and wife Liz, Thomas Shaw and wife Julie; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Ponkey and Gail Toon; sons-in-law, Daniel Korfel and Robert "Corky" Lathrop; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie F. Shaw and Marvin Groh; son-in-law, Jerome Nichols and brother, Edward Eglinton.
