Marilyn Ellen Boven

Marilyn Ellen Boven- Age 67, of Fenton, passed away May 18, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 12PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes- Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with memorial visitation taking place from 11AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Born on October 10, 1958, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Joseph and Jeanie (Smith) Perez, Marilyn was the identical twin of the late Marcia Boven Perez. She was a 1977 graduate of Trenton High School and earned her degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1985. Throughout her career, she served at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy in Ypsilanti.

Marilyn was deeply committed to her faith and was a devoted fan of Sandi Patti. She was best known for her dedication to her family, often organizing gatherings filled with games and laughter. She also deeply valued the lifelong friendships she maintained since high school.

She is survived by her parents; her sisters, Catalina (Marco) Iacopelli and Nancy (Jeff) Williams; her brothers, Donnie (Roxanne) Perez, David Perez and John Boven; many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
