She furthered her education at Michigan State University. Marion lived her life in service to her Lord and Savior. She was a Lifelong Member to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church - Fenton. In earlier years she took part in many of the church events and volunteered her time in serving its parishioners. During the past recent years when Marion became a shut-in, she faithfully watched religious programs and Mass on television. One of her most proud moments was her family's legacy in donating land for the Dauner Martin Nature Preserve in Fenton. She frequently visited the Loose Senior Center in Linden, where she enjoyed many events, but Bingo was her favorite. Marion enjoyed the comforts of her home and some of her fondest memories were those helping her mother and grandma garden and can vegetables.
Marion will be missed for her generous heart, strong faith in her Lord and treating everyone like family.
She is survived by her niece; Sandra Kelly -Theusch; her best friends, caregivers and adoptive family Martha (Donald) Hansen & Janine Hansen and the rest of the Hansen family who adopted Marion as their own.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ted and Robert Martin and two sisters, Margaret & Marjorie.
