Marion Wallace

Wallace Marion Louise - Age 78, of Grand Blanc, died peacefully surrounded by family on January 5, 2021. Private family services will be held. Visitation will be held 10AM-1PM Saturday, January 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Marion was born August 1, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Gordon and Ruth (Moesch) Wallace. She was a huge University of Michigan football fan. Marion was a wonderful seamstress. She was a loving and devoted grandmother. She also worked as a CNA for many years. Marion is survived by her 4 children, Gordon John Sowden, Julie Sowden-Jones, Kristine Sowden-Karasek (Joseph), Gina Eldon (Jeff); grandchildren, Erik, Rachel, Marissa, Chase, Alexandra, Madilynn, Garrett, Kellen, Joseph, and Austin; great-granddaughter, Arianna; also surviving are her siblings; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, John Alexander. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Medilodge of Montrose for the care and compassion over the last 4 years.
