Marjorie Cecelia LENZI

LENZI, Marjorie Cecelia - age 93, of Linden, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:15 PM Tuesday, February 5 in the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide, Fenton. Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 PM Sunday, 1-4 and 6-8 PM Monday with a 7 PM rosary at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and at the chapel at St. John one hour prior to mass on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John School Education Fund or American Heart Association. Marjorie was born November 3, 1919 in Mt. Morris, 1 of 12 children, the daughter of David and Glennie (Mills) O'Toole. She grew up on a farm in Mt. Morris and was part of a very large family. Marjorie attended St. Mary's Catholic School where she graduated in 1937. She married Silvio "Tony" Lenzi in October of 1940 in Mt. Morris and they were blessed with 71 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2012. Marjorie was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, her family was of utmost importance to her. She was also a wonderful homemaker who loved music and taught piano and organ at Herter's Music Company in Flint, as well as in her home. Marjorie had resided in Linden for the past 55 years and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Marjorie is survived by: son, Gary Lenzi of Argentine and daughter, Kimberlee Coon of Linden; eight grandchildren, Michael, Shelley, Julie, Stephen, Nikki, Scott, Jennifer, and Jackie; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. She was also preceded in death by her parents; eleven siblings of which she was the last surviving; and daughter, Sherri Robinson.
