Marjorie "Margie" A. Tinnin, age 58, of Burton, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at home with family at her side. A time of gathering for family and friends to share memories and celebrate Marjorie's life will be held 12pm - 3pm on Tuesday March 31, 2026, at Lisa's Lone Pine Bar, G-4061 Fenton Road in Burton. Marjorie will be laid to rest alongside family at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marjorie's family to assist in the cost of cremation arrangements. Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.

Marjorie was born on May 7, 1967 in Flint, Michigan to late Glenn & Joann (Cook) Holmes. She graduated from Southwestern High School, class of 1985. Marjorie continued her education at Baker College - Flint, were she earned her degree as a legal secretary. Marjorie worked for a Law Firm in Flint and Meijer on Irish Road. Marjorie's pride and joy was becoming a mother, her son Joshua meant the world to her.

Marjorie loved all Michigan sports especially Michigan Wolverine's but also the  Lions, Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings. She followed them all very closely and celebrated them whether win or loss. She had exceptional taste in music; the 80's and Elvis. Nothing was better than listening to good music and driving around with her cousin Pam. Her favorite hole in the wall gathering spot was Lisa's Lone Pine.

She is survived by her son, Joshua Tinnin; brother, Glenn (Stephanie) Venner; sister, Tammy (Ken ) Holmes; niece, Mallory (Joshua) Ashley and her children, Presley, Jameson, Harleigh and Danica. Marjorie is further survived by many nieces and nephews, dear family members, friends and special cousin, Pam (Tony) Silva; the father of her son, Mark ( Elizabeth) Tinnin; stepdaughter, Jessica (Bret) Campbell and their 3 boys and fur baby Kobe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Angie Palmer.
