Mark Alvin Dragoy

Mark Alvin Dragoy, age 79, of Fenton, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Graveside service with full military honors will take place at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton.

Mark was born on July 13, 1946, in Flint, the son of Alvin and Evelyn (Potter) Dragoy. He graduated from Fenton High School with the Class of 1964. Mark proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, serving from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1967. Following his service, he worked for GM Buick City for many years before retiring. A passionate classic car enthusiast, Mark enjoyed owning and attending numerous car shows throughout the years. He also had a deep love for astronomy, spending time exploring planetariums, using telescopes, and taking pride in the Dragoy family name being placed on Mars. Mark had a strong interest in meteorology and pyrotechnics, even putting on his own fireworks shows. He was also a frequent customer at the Coney Island Grill, where he was well known. Mark will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his son, Andrew Dragoy; sister, Darleen Higgins and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Dragoy; mother, Evelyn Henchey; and siblings, Elaine (Joseph) Buffa and Yvonne (Ronald) Harris. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
